about

I am a new media artist, musician and researcher based in southern California where I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Music. I'm currently a researcher at UCSD's Center for Research in Computing and the Arts (CRCA). I've produced numerous interactive sound and video installations within the United States and internationally, including interactive compositions for large-scale outdoor environments, and immersive multimedia experiences that highlight interaction between technology, culture and the human body.

My research is focused on interactivity, gestural interfaces, computer vision, and musical perception and cognition. I am currently studying with Miller Puckette, Jerry Balzano and Mark Dresser.
